Reports and Analysis
The OSPAT system supports examination of collected data through a variety of on-screen images and charts, as well as multiple printable reports.
Many such reports are built into the OSPAT Client, and the export interface offers multiple prebuilt reports. Further, as almost everything can be exported, it is possible for either the site or OSPAT to build customised reports for any area that the site may consider lacking.
The list below details the currently available reports, splitting these between client and export, according to how they are generated.
Client reports
For all reports in the client interface, where such is meaningful, it is possible to constrain the range of dates reported. Most reports are available to all client users. Where the report involves employees or their events or assessments, only the people accessible to the client user’s login are included.
The following reports are available through the client interface.
- Employee assessments
For an individual employee, a list of assessments performed. - Employee assessment events
For an individual employee, a list of the events triggered by assessments. - Employee assessment consistency
For an individual employee, a graphical comparison of historical scores to the last included. - Employee assessment replay
A step by step replay of the movements that composed an individual assessment. Three progressively more detailed views of this data exist. - Supervisory shift summary
Used by a supervisor, this summary report shows today’s outcomes for all the people whom he supervises. - Group alert summary
A summary report of assessment alerts for a specified group of individuals. - Day’s assessment summary
A “snapshot” report of the assessed outcome of all accessible employees at a predetermined time. - 7 day assessment summary
A graphical report that shows with coloured circles the outcomes of assessments by a group of employees over a specified 7 day period. - Event actions
A detailed examination of how each assessment event was handled by the responsible supervisor (or supervisors). - Filtered events
A list report of assessment events that allows filtering by event type, event state and employee position. - Participation
A report designed to allow determination of the level of participation in assessments. - Active people
A list of the accessible people set to a status that allows them to assess. - General analysis
A report that shows assessment outcome rates using multiple groupings (e.g. shift, age, time of assessment, etc.) - D & A testing
The OSPAT Server supports random selection for drug and alcohol testing. This report shows information about this. - Evacuation
On sites where everyone performs the OSPAT assessment, it can be used as an effective “attendance register”. This report can be used in an emergency to determine who is expected to be on-site. - Rescue team
On sites where specific people belong to a rescue team, this report can be used to determine who in the team is on-site, and what their assessment outcomes were. - System event log
Reports internal status and event items – e.g. “Server restart”, “Invalid PIN entered”, etc.
Export reports
The export interface at the client allows selection of the date range that is exported. All reports subsequently generated from the available reports built-in to the exported database will be constrained by these dates.
The following reports exist in the exported database. Where the name of a report is followed by ‘(F)’, this report can also be filtered by position in the employment hierarchy.
- Active Employee Test Count
Used mostly for determining whether specific employees are actively assessing on a regular basis, this report can also help identify employees who have an unusually high number of alerts or cautions. - Employee ID Tag (F)
Pairs employees with the card ID (or other identifying value) they use to perform assessments. - Employee Summary (F)
Provides a summary of each employee’s assessments - Employee Tests (F)
Lists employees and their assessments - Employee Length By Job
A summary of the employment length of employees in each job - Event Summary Tree
A graphical view of open events related to their supervisory position - Events With IDs (F)
Displays a list of events and their Event IDs - Late assessment (F)

Lists the time of each no-show where no assessment was performed later, grouped by employee. - Position Tree
Displays the position tree in a printable report. - Security Levels By User
Displays all the security levels available to each user. - Shift Times
Shows all the start and finish times of each shift for the exported period. - Temporary Employees
Lists all the employees in the Temporary position (i.e. not assigned a genuine position) - Terminals Analysis
Multiple graphs showing the weekly performance of each terminal - Users By Security Level
For each security level, displays all the users that have been granted that security level. - Action Summary

Event and interview details sorted by employee (web interface report) - Events Closed Late Graph
A graph comparing the number of alerts originating below each position that were closed late. - Event Closed Late Tree
Displays the position tree and shows the number of alerts originating from below each position that were closed late. - Events Closed Late vs Alerts Graph
A graph comparing the number of alerts originating from below each position and the proportion that were closed late. - Web cause analysis
Summary of data collected from the web interface
In addition to the above reports that can be filtered by position, the following specific filtered reports exist.
- Event Details
Lists events and actions (including notes) sorted by employee
The data conventionally reported in the General Analysis report at the client can also be reported through the “Custom Report”. In addition to the details shown at the client, this report offers charts of the data, and optionally includes a section for Web cause analysis, both grouped and graphically.
